Meadowridge Tennis Club (MTC) was started in 1960 by residents in the area and beyond. The Club began with 2 courts using funds donated and raised by the early club members.
The Club played for many years in WP and Paragon leagues. In the eighties the Club won most of the league sections in the Paragon League and eventually re-joined WP Tennis in order that the Club retain the services of their many juniors as well as enticing new senior membership.
At the same time over the years a further 6 Courts were added including the installation of floodlights on the two main Courts.
The Club house has undergone numerous expansions and renovations over the years. MTC has a proud history of Tennis development of all ages. It has 3 resident coaches and a good reputation for upholding family values and a good happy spirit.
The Club is still self-financed and does not rely on external financial assistance.
The Club currently has a 5 Men’s and 4 Ladies singles Teams (1st teams aiming for promotion to premier league), 4 Mixed and 2 Vets teams.
